MICEX index down 0.4% at open on Friday

MOSCOW. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Russian stocks declined at the open of trading on the MICEX exchange on Friday.

The MICEX index was down 0.37% to 1,745.06 points as of 10:31 a.m. and the RTS index was down 1,903.63 points.

Decliners on MICEX included VTB - down 0.6%, Gazprom - 0.4%, Gazprom Neft - 0.2%, MMC Norilsk Nickel - 0.4%, Lukoil - 0.2%, Polyus Gold - 0.9%, Rosneft - 0.6%, Rostelecom - 0.6%, Sberbank Russia - 0.4%, Surgutneftegas - 0.3% and Tatneft - 0.4%.
