Kazakhstan invests $84.2 mln on gas pipelines in 2010

ASTANA. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan invested 12.1 billion tenge ($82.4 million) in gas transportation projects, including the construction of new gas facilities and supply networks to provide gas to the rural districts, said the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

"The Oil and Gas Ministry in 2011 will continue expanding production, transportation, processing and export of hydrocarbon resources, ratify a number of agreements in the energy sector, and take measures to protect the domestic market, together with other government agencies, after the admission to the Common Economic Space and the WTO, " according to the press release.
