B&NBank and Peganova reduce stakes in Bashinvestbank, Shishkhanov now owns 48.4%
MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - B&NBank's managing board chairman and its main shareholder, Mikhail Shishkhanov, has become the owner of 48.37% in Bashinvestbank's charter capital. Shishkhanov earlier did not hold shares in the Bashkortostan-based bank.
The bank said in a statement that it had reduced its stake in Bashinvestbank's charter capital from 76% to 39.24%.
Natalia Peganova, who earlier owned 24% in Bashinvestbank, now owns 12.39%, B&NBank said.
B&NBank provided financial support to Bashinvestbank in November 2008 and became the owner of 76% in the latter bank's charter capital. Vasily Peganov, Bashinvestbank's main owner, retained 24% in the bailed-out bank.
B&NBank was 44th biggest bank by assets in Russia by the end of the third quarter of 2010 while Bashinvestbank was 347th largest bank according to the Interfax-100, compiled by the Interfax Center for Economic Analysis (CEA).
