Energomash owner Stepanov detained on fraud charges

MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Alexander Stepanov, the principal owner of the Energomash group, has been detained on suspicion of fraud, and his arrest is under consideration, Irina Dudukina, a spokesperson for Russia's Investigative Committee, told Interfax on Wednesday.

"Stepanov is suspected of fraud in the credit sector. A request on taking him into custody was forwarded to Moscow's Tverskoy Court today," Dudukina said.
