UAC's sales revenue up 44.7% to 165 bln rubles in 2010

MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - OJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), according to preliminary information, saw sales revenue go up by 44.7% to 165 billion rubles in 2010, the company said in a statement.

At the same time, sales of military hardware went up by 36% to 117 billion rubles in 2010. In addition, revenue from sales of commercial aircraft went soared by 60% to around 20 billion rubles.

Total exports for 2010 increased by over one third to 94 billion rubles from 69 billion rubles in 2009. Sales of airliners and R&D operations on the domestic increased by 57.7% to 71 billion rubles. "State orders, as well as contracts for supplying commercial aircraft from Russian airlines and leasing companies, are the main reasons for UAC's continuing sales growth on the domestic market," the statement said.

UAC's consolidate debt at the end of 2010 decreased by 6.4% to 147.6 billion rubles.

In addition, the statement said that seven civilian airliners had been delivered to ordering parties, including four An-148s and three Tu-204/214s. Furthermore, UAC carried out repairs and modernization of over 45 airliners in 2010.
