Silvinit RAS net profits down 11.6% in Q4
PERM. Feb 3 (Interfax) - OJSC Silvinit made 4.098 billion rubles in net profits calculated to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) in the fourth quarter of last year, an 11.6% drop from 4.634 billion rubles in Q4 2009, the company reported.
The company made 12.835 billion rubles in net profits in Q1-Q3 2010 and thus 16.933 billion rubles for the entire year (1.8% more than 2009's 16.641 billion rubles).
Silvinit increased potassium chloride output 50% to 5.2 million tonnes last year. The company, located in Solikamsk, Perm territory, is developing the Verkhnekamskoye potassium-magnesium salt field, the only one in Russia, which holds 3.8 billion tonnes of ore.
