SIBUR to invest 5 bln rubles in gas processing this year

KHANTY-MANSIYSK. Feb 11 (Interfax) - SIBUR Holding plans to invest 5 billion rubles into gas processing in 2011 and maintain investment at this level over the next several years, the company's president, Dmitry Konov, told journalists.

Konov also said that a final date for a SIBUR shareholder meeting has yet to be set. The company's owners will likely vote on changing the board of directors following the arrival of a new shareholder.

SIBUR earlier said that its total investment program for 2011 had been approved at 73.4 billion rubles, which is a 25% increase from 2010.

CJSC Miracle, a company owned by NOVATEK CEO Leonid Mikhelson, acquired 25% of the shares in SIBUR Holding in December 2010. Mikhelson plans to consolidate a 100% stake in SIBUR in the future.
