Gazprom plans to boost gas exports to Western Europe 9.3% in 2011
MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax) - Gazprom plans to export 151.5 billion cubic meters of gas to Western Europe in 2011, 9.3% more than the 138.6 bcm it exported to the region last year, the company said in materials at a meeting of Gazprom officials with investors.
Supplies of Russian gas to Europe came to 140 bcm in 2009.
However, Gazprom said in a presentation on Friday that the European market expanded by 7%, or 39.4 bcm, to 604.6 bcm in 2010.
