VTB24 chief Zadornov tapped for Svyazinvest board

MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The government has included Mikhail Zadornov, chairman of the VTB24 bank, on its list of candidates for election to the board of directors at fixed-line telco holding Svyazinvest's AGM.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed the relevant order on January 28.

The other candidates are the same as those nominated for an extraordinary shareholders meeting on February 10.

They include Russian Federal Property Agency (Rosimushchestvo) deputy head Gleb Nikitin, who was not elected, plus the seven who were elected on February 10: Communications and Mass Media Minister Igor Schyogolev; VTB Capital managing director Mikhail Butrin; UBS Bank board member Marlen Manasov; Higher School of Economics professor Ivan Rodionov; VEB Capital general director Yury Kudimov; Svyazinvest chief Vadim Semyonov; and Renaissance Capital President Alexander Pertsovsky.

Rostelecom , which owns a blocking stake in Svyazinvest, got its president, Alexander Provotorov and vice president, Sergei Lukash, elected.
