Lukashenko angry about delay in NPP construction
MINSK. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has demanded that the construction of a national nuclear power plant be fully started by 2015.
"I am calling it to the attention of the energy minister and the government in general that the construction of a Belarusian nuclear power plant must be launched to the full extent within the current five-year period. You have dragged out this project," Lukashenko said at a meeting with a new government in Minsk on Friday.
"I care little about who you build it together with - the Chinese, Koreans, or Russians. It's time to start this work already," he said.
