Moscow Refinery increases output slightly in Jan
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Moscow Oil Refinery processed 833,100 tonnes of oil in January, up 0.3% year-on-year, the plant said.
Light petroleum products accounted for 57.31% of output, including gasoline - 25.08% (high octane - 20.73%), kerosene - 6.16%, diesel fuel - 25.58%, bitumen - 2.95% and heating fuel - 29.65%.
The facility's conversion rate came to 66.81%.
Moscow Refinery started producing car gasoline and class 4 diesel fuel this year. The refinery carried out catalyst regeneration of its LCH-35-11/1000 octanizing unit. This helped produce high-octane gasoline components and boosted the unit's operational capacity.
Gazprom Neft owns Moscow Refinery, which supplies 50% of petroleum products to the Moscow market. The refinery processed 10.147 million tonnes of oil in 2010, which is an increase of 1.5% from 2009.
