Aeroflot boosts passenger flights 16% in January
MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - Russian flag-carrier OJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines flew 912,700 passengers in January this year, a 16.3% year-on-year increase, the airlines reported.
The airline flew 610,500 passengers on international routes, up 20.2% year-on-year, and 3302,000 on domestic routes, up 9.2%.
Passenger turnover increased 19.2% year-on-year to 2.895 billion passenger/kilometers.
The seat occupancy ratio was 71.9%, or 1 percentage point higher than a year ago, and the commercial load factor rose 1.3 pp to 56.9%.
Aeroflot carried 11.2 million passengers in 2010.
