Russian core sector output grows 5.1% in Jan - Rosstat
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Core sector output in Russia grew 5.1% year-on-year in January 2011, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Output by the five core sectors, which are industry, agriculture, construction, transport and retail, fell 21.7% in January 2011 compared with December 2010.
Compared with January 2010, output rose 6.7% in industry, 4.9% in freight, 0.5% in retail and 0.7% in agriculture, but it fell 1.1% in construction.
