Kazakhstan's gold and forex reserves up 12.7% to $66.4 bln in Jan-Feb

ALMATY. March 9 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves, including the National Bank of Kazakhstan's gross reserves and funds accumulated in the National Fund, increased to $66.4 billion in February, the National Bank of Kazakhstan said in a statement. An increase of 6% in the month of February and 12.7% rise in the year to date.

According to the report, the reserves in the National Fund came to $32.9 billion as at the end of February.

The National Bank's net international reserves rose 7.5% to $32.9 billion in 2010 (an 18.7% rise since January 2011).
