Rosnano applies to register corporatization with EGRUL

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - Russian state corporation Rosnano has sent an application for the registration of its corporatization with the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL).

The application was sent on Wednesday, March 9, Rosnano said in a statement.

The Russian government approved plans for Rosnano's corporatization on December 17. The law for this was approved in July, 2010.

According to a government order, Russia's Ministry of Education and Science should present a draft for Rosnano's charter to the government for approval. The ministry should also reach an agreement with the Ministries of Finance and Economic Development on an act of transfer, the size of the new joint stock company's charter capital and the terms for its formation.

In accordance with the law on the corporation's reorganization, 100% in the company will be owned by the Russian Federation. Rosnano chief Anatoly Chubais said an IPO of the joint stock company could be possible in the future. However, he noted that this would not happen before 2013-2014.

Rosnano was founded by federal law dated July 19, 2007. The corporation is a co-investor in nanotechnology projects and creates infrastructure for these efforts.
