IDGC Holding's grid distribution enterprises should be quickly privatized or go through management transfer - Medvedev

CHEREMUSHKI. March 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has come out in favor of either the quick transfer of management or the privatization of grid enterprises controlled by OJSC IDGC Holding.

"I'd like to stress that I am constantly asked about this by the leaders of the Federation's subjects. The transfer of management or the privatization of regional grid companies under IDGC Holding's control should finally take place," Medvedev said at a meeting of the State Council in regards to development of Russia's electricity sector.
