Enel OGK-5 posts 3.695 bln rubles IFRS net profits in 2010, up 15%

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Net profits at generating company OJSC Enel OGK-5 increased 15% last year to 3.695 billion rubles as calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company reported.

Analysts had projected a 48.3% increase to 4.75 billion rubles.

The company's EBITDA came to 9.246 billion rubles last year, 18% more than in 2009.

Sales revenues from Enel OGK-5's core business were up 26% at 52.561 billion rubles.
