First round of Russian-Georgian WTO talks passed constructively - Russian Foreign Ministry

MINSK. March 15 (Interfax) - The first round of Russian-Georgian negotiations on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) passed in a constructive way, and they will be continued, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said.

"The round passed quite constructively. It did not bring about what is called breakthroughs, but there was an exchange of opinions, and we need to work in this direction," Karasin told Interfax.
