Russian export credit insurance agency may insure up to $1 bln in export credits in 2011 - Putin
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russia's Agency for Export Credit Insurance and Investment may insure up to $1 billion in export credits in 2011, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.
"This year the agency might insure export credits totaling up to $1 billion," Putin said at a meeting of the government presidium on Thursday.
Plans are to provide insurance support for more than 15% of Russian exports of cars, machinery and transportation equipment - a total of more than $14 billion - by the end of 2013, he said.
