UAZ ups RAS net profits 68% in 2010
MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russian automaker OJSC Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ), part of the Sollers group, saw net profits grow 68% to 1.461 billion rubles last year from 868 million rubles in 2009, the company said.
Q1-Q3 2010 net profits totaled 1.105 billion rubles and Q4 net profits 356 million rubles.
The company made 976 million rubles in net profits in 2008 and 1.345 billion rubles in 2007.
UAZ is Russia's biggest SUV producer. It built 55,200 vehicles last year, 68.6% more than in 2009. Its plan for this year - 62,700 vehicles.
