Uralsvyazinform doubles RAS net profit in 2010
YEKATERINBURG. April 1 (Interfax) - OJSC Uralsvyazinform increased its net profit according to Russian accounting standards (RAS) to 8.168 billion rubles for 2010, up 100% in comparison with 2009, the company said in its RAS financial reporting.
The company's sales revenue for 2010 came to 43.126 billion rubles, up 5.8% from 2009.
Revenues from telecommunications services went up by 6.1% to 41.994 billion rubles.

The report said that the company's revenues from data transfer and Internet access services increased by 15% to over 7.2 billion rubles, cellular services - 9.7% to 14.2597 billion rubles and local telephone services - 5.3% to 11.4 billion rubles.
The telecom's accounts receivable at the end of 2010 stood at 5.078 billion rubles compared to 3.875 billion rubles at the start of the year. Accounts payable came to 5.681 billion rubles compared to 5.568 billion rubles, respectively.
Uralsvyazinform (trademark Utel) is a major fixed-line and mobile communications operator in Urals Region. As of the first of this year, the company had 3.6 million fixed-line users, 5 million mobile communications users, 900,000 broadband Internet-access users, and 122,000 pay-TV subscribers.
