Gazpromregiongaz increases net profit by 17% in 2010

ST. Petersburg. April 6 (Interfax) - OJSC Gazpromregiongaz increased net profit by 17% to 1.343 billion rubles in 2010, the company said in its financial reporting.

The company's sales revenue last year increased by 51.5% to 7.943 billion rubles while production costs went up by 33.7% to 5.984 billion rubles.

The company's sales profit came to 944.593 million rubles compared to losses from sales of 49.699 million rubles in 2009. Gazpromregiongaz's pretax profit went up by 36% to 1.739 billion rubles.

The company's short-term accounts receivable went up from 8.576 billion rubles as of January 1, 2010 to 69.445 billion rubles on December 31. Short-term accounts payable increased from 12.892 billion rubles to 129.989 billion rubles.

Gazpromregiongaz was formed to consolidate Gazprom's gas distribution assets. The shareholders in the company are LLC Mezhregiongaz (a Gazprom subsidiary with a 99% stake) and LLC Gazprom Transgas St. Petersburg (1%).
