Guaranteed demand for Russian power equipment over three years estimated at 3.1 trln rubles - Putin
ST. PETERSBURG. April 8 (Interfax) - Guaranteed demand for Russian production of power equipment is estimated at 3.1 trillion rubles for the next three years, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the development of the power equipment sector in Russia on Friday.
"Only our generating companies are ready to buy 1 trillion rubles in power equipment over the next three years, grid companies - 500 billion rubles. Companies in the gas sector plan to spend 600 billion rubles and oil production sector - 1 trillion rubles," Putin said, adding that the "domestic demand is sufficient".
Commenting on a guaranteed period, Putin said that power equipment producers should ensure power companies' demand for modern equipment.
