Almaty Airport shares auction postponed until April 20
ALMATY. April 13 (Interfax) - The specialized auction for ordinary shares of Almaty International Airport JSC (AIA) has been put back until April 20, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) said on Wednesday.
The auction was initially scheduled for April 14. The number of ordinary shares of AIA currently totals 100,000, including 78,414 listed ones. It is planned to auction the whole package of listed ordinary shares. The minimum auction lot is one share. The company has no listed preference shares.
The Almaty Airport, the largest in Kazakhstan, was built in 1935. Almaty International Airport JSC is presently owned on a parity basis by Meridian Capital LLP and SAT Infosystems LLP.
