Medvedev insists his instructions to improve investment climate must be implemented in one year
SANYA (CHINA). April 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has told journalists that all of his instructions aimed at improving the investment climate in Russia he made recently in Magnitogorsk must be implemented "within one calendar year."
"Some instructions, like, for instance, that on the government officials' involvement [in the management bodies of state-controlled corporations] can be implemented quickly, others - taking into account conditions," Medvedev said.
Medvedev had ordered earlier that government officials must be removed from the boards of directors of state-controlled companies.
"The list [of instructions] is open. I will expand it by pointing to weak points in the investment area when it is necessary," he said.
