Russian monetary base up 71.1 bln rubles to 5743.4 bln rubles

MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 5743.4 bln rubles on April 11 up from 5672.3 bln rubles on April 4, the Central Bank reported on Friday.

The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' mandatory local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
