Evraz ups steel output 9.8% to 4.4 mln tonnes in Q1

MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - Evraz Group increased crude steel production 9.8% year-on-year in Q1 2010 to 4.4 million tonnes, the company said.

Evraz produced 4.145 million tonnes in Q4 2010.

Roll output grew 12.5% year-on-year to 4 million tonnes in Q1 2011.

Evraz Group produced 16.3 million tonnes of steel in 2010, 6.6% more than in 2009. Output of rolled products was up 2.7% to 14.7 million tonnes.
