Minsk subway blast among attempts to destabilize Belarus market - president
MINSK. April 15 (Interfax) - The April 11 explosion that hit a key subway station in Minsk was one of the attempts aimed at destabilizing the situation in Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday.
"Prior to the presidential elections, we foresaw attempts to crush us persistently and methodically, as well as to destabilize the situation. All this has happened, first on the currency market, then on the food market, followed by a blast in the metro. It is a whole chain," he said.
