Alfa-Bank boosts RAS net profit by 28% to 4 bln rubles in Q1
MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - Alfa-Bank increased its net profit according to Russian accounting standards (RAS) by 28.4% to 3.996 billion rubles in 2010 from 3.112 billion rubles for the same period of 2010, the bank said in its profit and loss report.
The bank's pretax profit for the first quarter went up by 29% to 4.07 billion rubles from 3.152 billion rubles for the same period of 2009.
Alfa-Bank posted 2.993 billion rubles in RAS net profit for 2010 compared to 2.154 billion rubles in net losses for 2009.
Alfa-Bank was seventh biggest bank in Russia by assets at the end of 2010according to the Interfax-100 ranking, compiled by the Interfax Center for Economic Analysis.
