Inflation in Russia will not top 6.5%-7.5% in 2011 - Putin

MOSCOW. April 20 (Interfax) - Inflation will not exceed 6.5%-7.5% in Russia this year, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told the State Duma Wednesday in a report on government activities.

"In March-April of this year, inflation had already begun to slow. And much here will depend precisely on how effectively state support for the agricultural complex is employed," Putin said.
