OGK-4 sells 0.4% more electricity in Q1

MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - OGK-4 edged up electricity sales 0.5% in the first quarter year-on-year to 16.335 billion kWh, the genco said in a press release.

Sales of heat declined 13.1% to 793,100 Gcal, due to unseasonably warm weather in January-March 2011 compared with the same period last year.

OGK-4 is controlled by E.ON. It includes the Surgutskaya-2, Berezovskaya, Shaturskaya, Smolenskaya and Yaivinskaya district power stations (GRES). Installed capacity totals 9,073 megawatts.
