Bank of Belarus releases national currency's exchange rate on cash market

MINSK. May 11 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Belarus has lifted the recommended restrictions on the national currency's exchange rates in selling foreign currency to and buying it from individuals starting May 11.

"As part of a plan of gradual transition to the Belarusian ruble's unified exchange rate and stabilization of the situation on the domestic currency market, the National Bank on May 11 lifted the recommended restrictions from the banks on setting exchange rates in selling foreign currency to and buying it from individuals," the National Bank of Belarus said in a statement on its website.
