Companies in technology parks to post 104.7 bln rubles in revenue in 2011-2014
MOSCOW. May 11 (Interfax) - Companies residing in Russia's technology parks will post 104.7 billion rubles in revenue in 2011-2014, the Communications and Mass Media Ministry said in materials.
The number of resident companies will increase to 1,500 in that time.
The 407 residents of the five technology parks - in the Tyumen, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions, Tatarstan and Mordovia - had 22 billion rubles in revenue in 2010.
The federal budget spent 6.98 billion rubles to set up the technology parts in 2007-2010. Non-budgetary investment in that period totaled 3 billion rubles.
A total of 6.09 billion rubles in federal subsidies are scheduled for the 2011-2014 period. Those funds will also be used to create three new technology parks: in Togliatti, Naberezhnye Chelny and Penza.
