Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to import 3.2 bcm of gas in May
KYIV. May 12 (Interfax) - Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to buy 3.17 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas from OJSC Gazprom this month, a government source told Interfax.
A source at the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry said that Naftogaz Ukrainy had imported $948 million worth of gas in April.
The price for imported Russian gas rose to $264 per 1,000 cubic meters in the first quarter from $252 in the fourth quarter of last year.
