Tax Code requires amendments - Putin

MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Amendments should be made to the Russian Tax Code concerning the formation of transfer prices to guarantee public interests, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said.

The law contains relevant regulations, but such terms as 'a market price,' 'affiliates' and others need to be clarified, he said.

The amendments should be transparent and have a standard interpretation. They should also indiscriminately apply to all parties, Putin said.

However, the amendments should be made "cautiously and carefully" so as not to cause harm, he said.
