Rosnedra putting placer gold deposit in Yakutsk up for auction

YAKUTSK. May 19 (Interfax) - Russia's Subsurface Resources Agency (Rosnedra) plans a June 13 auction for the usage rights to placer-gold production at the Ebir-Khaya-Yuryakh deposit, the agency's regional department told Interfax.

This deposit is located in the Oimyankon region of northeastern Yakutia. C1 gold reserves were reckoned at 36 kilograms for open mining at the start of this year.

The starting price at auction is 7.5 million rubles. Yakutnedra will be accepting bids until June 10.
