Russia placing further 50 bln rubles in 2018 notes - source
MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - The Russian Finance Ministry is placing an additional 50 billion rubles in 7.85% sovereign Eurobonds due in March 2018, a banking sector source told Interfax.
Pricing is expected shortly, the source said.
According to traders on the debt market, total demand for these Eurobonds came to around 60 billion rubles.
The bonds should yield 7% pa, reports have said.
The bid book was opened on Wednesday with a yield guidance of 7.125%.
The ministry placed a first tranche of 40 billion rubles in ruble-denominated Eurobonds in February.
