Right Cause should not join All-Russia Popular Front - Prokhorov

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - Businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, who could lead the Right Cause Party, has said other prominent businessmen have shown interest in the party.

Businessmen, as well as doctors and engineers, have shown interest, he told journalists on Tuesday, without naming the businessmen.

"Do you really think the party can be built out of one 'bag'?" he said, when talking about funding for the party.

Asked whether, in the event of him becoming the leader, the Right Cause would join the All-Russian Popular Front, Prokhorov replied negatively.

"I think the party must operate independently," the businessman said.
