Work on planned CIS free trade pact going successfully - Putin

MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - "Basic documents" for a treaty to set up a free trade zone in the CIS are ready "on the whole," Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

"We are actively working on a new treaty on free trade in the CIS. It isn't going easily, but on the whole the basic documents are ready," Putin said at the launching ceremony in Moscow for the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
