Rosatom not dropping idea of alliance with Siemens
DEAUVILLE. May 26 (Interfax) - Rosatom has confirmed its intention of forming a strategic alliance with German Siemens, Rosatom deputy chief Nikolai Spassky said.
"We are not concealing our desire to establish strategic partnership relations with Siemens, if its relations with French Areva are settled," Spassky said in Deauville on Thursday.
However, given announcements from the German leadership concerning changes in nuclear energy policy, "we must have negotiations on reformatting our strategic partnership," he said.
