Russia cuts nickel output 8.1%, copper up 4.6% in April

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Russia reduced nickel production 8.1% in April compared with March while refined copper production rose 4.6%, the Russian Economic Development Ministry said in its latest economic review.

Nickel production fell 0.1% year-on-year in January-April while copper production rose 2%.

Copper production grew 3.7% year-on-year in April.
