Oil export duty to increase to $462.1 per tonne from June
MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - Russia's oil export duty will increase by $10 from $453.7 to $462.1 per tonne as of June 1, 2011, according to a resolution signed by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on May 26.
Starting from June 1, the favorable duty rate will be $217.5 per tonne, up from the current $211.7 per tonne.
The prohibitive duty on gasoline and crude oil - straight-run gasoline (naphtha) will be $415.8 per tonne. It was reported that the export ban on gasoline and semi-finished gasoline was imposed to address the fuel crisis.
From June 1, the duty on light petroleum products will be $309.6 per tonne, dark petroleum products - $215.8 per tonne. The current duties are $304 per tonne and $211.8 per tonne, respectively.
The duty on liquefied petroleum gas will be increased from $130.2 to $189.8 per tonne.
