Russia ups oil output 1.3%, gas 2.9% in 5 mths

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - Russia increased oil and gas condensate production 1.3% year-on-year in January-May to 210.682 million tonnes (10.227 million barrels per day), the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) said.

May production was 43.384 million tonnes (10.258 million bpd).

Rosneft produced 46.987 million tonnes of oil in January-May (9.707 million tonnes in May), Lukoil - 35.729 million tonnes (7.271 million tonnes), TNK-BP Holding - 29.713 million tonnes (6.133 million tonnes), Surgutneftegas - 25.049 million tonnes (5.169 million tonnes), Gazprom Neft - 12.363 million tonnes (2.557 million tonnes), Tatneft - 10.829 million tonnes (2.2241 million tonnes), Slavneft - 7.463 million tonnes (1.531 million tonnes), Bashneft - 6.18 million tonnes (1.266 million tonnes) and RussNeft - 5.423 million tonnes (1.139 million tonnes).

Russian enterprises and partly foreign-owned joint ventures produced 16.502 million tonnes of oil in January-May (3.394 million tonnes in May).

Gas giant Gazprom produced 6.019 million tonnes of oil (1.309 million tonnes) and production-sharing agreement (PSA) operators - 6.697 million tonnes (1.328 million tonnes).

Russian gas production grew 2.9% year-on-year in January-May to 297.601 billion cubic meters (57.526 bcm in May).

Gazprom produced 230.302 bcm (44.327 bcm), OJSC NOVATEK - 21.501 bcm (4.087 bcm), other oil and gas companies - 8.26 bcm (1.539 bcm) and PSA operators - 10.968 bcm (2.182 bcm).

Vertically integrated oil companies produced 26.571 bcm of gas in January-May (5.392 bcm in May): Lukoil produced 6.669 bcm (1.363 bcm), Surgutneftegas - 5.318 bcm (1.059 bcm), TNK-BP - 5.163 bcm (1.056 bcm), Rosneft - 4.914 bcm (974 million cu m) and Gazprom Neft - 2.94 bcm (596 mcm).
