Surgutneftegas investment in sales to increase by almost 19% in 2011

SURGUT. June 3 (Interfax) - Surgutneftegas' total capital expenditures for sales operations will come to 844.2 million rubles in 2011, up 18.5% from 2010.

The company plans to reconstruct 18 filling stations, build three new stations and buy one more outlet.

Surgutneftegas' total sales of petroleum products came to 1.5 million tonnes last year.

Total capex in sales came to around 712 million rubles last year, which was a 2.7% increase form 2009. This was used for the reconstruction of 10 filling stations.

The main markets for the company's output are Northwest Russia where it owns Kirishsky Oil Refinery, the one refinery in this region.

The company's retail chain is represented by five companies: Kaliningradnefteprodukt, Kirishiavtoservis, Novgorodnefteprodukt, Pskovnefteprodukt and Tvernefteprodukt.

Surgutneftegas owns over 300 filling stations and around 30 oil bases.
