Russia, EU may resolve 'vegetable embargo' situation before June 9 - Russian envoy

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov hopes that Moscow and the EU will reach an agreement on the 'vegetable problem' before the Nizhny Novgorod summit.

"Hopefully, the matter will be clarified within days remaining before the summit," he said in a Moscow-Brussels videoconference on Monday.

The summit is due on June 9-10.
