Vimpelcom raises 5.6 bln ruble loan from HSBC under guarantee of Sweden's EKN

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - OJSC Vimpelcom is raising a 5.6 billion ruble-loan from HSBC under the guarantee of an export-credit agency, the bank said in a press release.

The loan facility will be available for seven years. The funds will be used to finance the supply of equipment and provide services for Vimpelcom by Sweden's Ericsson AB. Swedish agency EKN is the export credit agency providing the guarantee.
