Belarus expects to sell Beltransgaz to Gazprom in 2011
ST.PETERSBURG. June 17 (Interfax) - Belarus expects to sell the remaining 50% of gas pipeline operator Beltransgaz to Russia's Gazprom this year, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko told reporters on the sidelines of the economic forum in St Petersburg.
"The Beltransgaz deal must be concluded this year," he said.
The gas supply contract between the two countries expires this year. "The 2012-2014 contract needs to be signed on fundamentally new terms linked with the Common Economic Space agreement," he said, singling out pricing and tariffs.
