Russia not to halt electricity exports to Belarus under arrears deal

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - Russian electricity company Inter RAO UES and Belarusian energy firm Belenergo have reached an agreement to push back the deadline for Belenergo to pay its electricity arrears to the Russian company until June 27.

Inter RAO UES will not halt its electricity exports to Belarus until then, Inter RAO UES spokesman Anton Nazarov told Interfax.
