Venezuela to build plant to repair Russian-made helicopters

BOURGET, France. June 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Venezuela will build a plant to repair Russian-made helicopters, Sergei Kornev, the head of a delegation of the Russian state arms export agency Rosoboronexport, told journalists at the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget on Wednesday.

"We have shipped all aircraft ordered to Venezuela, including Su-30MK fighters and Mi-35 and Mi-17 helicopters. The next stage of cooperation is the construction of a plant for overhaul of Mi-35, Mi-17, and Mi-26 helicopters," Kornev said.
