NOVATEK-Perm to supply Perm GRES with up to 18.1 bcm of gas in 2011-2015
MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - LLC NOVATEK-Perm will supply Perm GRES with up to 18.14 billion cubic meters of gas during the period from July 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015, a shareholder in NOVATEK told Interfax.
At an extraordinary meeting on Monday, the company's shareholders approved a surety contract for the agreement on gas supply.
According to the agreement, NOVATEK is obliged to oversee LLC NOVATEK-Perm carry out its obligations for supplying gas between July 1, 2011 and December 31, 2015. The total gas price in the contract will come to no more than 74.774 billion rubles (including VAT). The price is based on the minimum wholesale rate approved by the Federal Tariff Service for industrial consumers in the Perm Territory in 2011 with future indexation set at 15%.
NOVATEK said that agreements for supplying gas in 2011-2015 were signed with Inter RAO UES 9RTS: IRAO) at the end of 2010. Total gas supply for Inter RAO's facilities, including OGK-1 , will come to 64.7 bcm. NOVATEK previously supplied gas directly to Perm GRES. Later, NOVATEK-Perm was formed for selling gas in the Perm Territory.
